The Carterville Lions dominated the Herrin Tigers from start to finish tonight picking up a 49-0 win in the first SIRR Conference Game of the season for both teams.
Carterville's QB, Brandon Skelcher was outstanding throwing the ball going 19 of 20 for 328 yards and 7 touchdowns.
The Leading receiver was Nick Bishing who had 7 receptionfor 176 yards and 5 touchdowns. Riley Crain had one touchdown catch as did Braden Wakey.
The Lions defense was outstanding as they forced 3 interceptions and 2 fumbles on the night.
