Listen to my voice change over the course of 1 year on testosterone as I read Stanzas by Emily Brontë!
This poem captures the evolution of my voice over the following milestones:
-1 month on T
-3 months on T
-6 months on T
-9 months on T
-1 year on T
Check out my Voice Changes on T: Year 1 playlist ([ Ссылка ]) for a whole project about how I've been tracking the changes in my voice. It's got more poems and songs with voice evolutions like this one, along with voice challenges and vocal analysis videos. (And yes, I'll have a similar playlist when Year 2 rolls around!)
I've also got playlists of Pre-T and Post-T voice recordings if you want to hear more music that shows how my voice has changed:

-Post-T Voice Recordings ([ Ссылка ])
I started this voice change tracking project for two reasons:
1) To give singers who are considering going on testosterone some examples of actual voice changes
2) To combat the myth that testosterone "ruins your singing voice"
But even though my primary focus was on singing voice changes, I decided to capture the changes in my speaking voice too by reading poetry. Please feel free to share this project with anyone who might need it (people transitioning with T, gender affirming healthcare providers, voice coaches, researchers studying the trans community, etc.) to use as a resource.
And if you want to use this project as a source of inspiration for tracking your own voice changes on T, please feel free to do that as well. (That goes for trans and nonbinary folks taking T and cis guys going through their endogenous puberty.) There's nowhere near enough data out there on testosterone driven voice changes, especially for singers, so it would be great to have more.
I hope y'all enjoy this one... let me know what you think!
