Here we want to propose a preventive physiotherapy method with respect to the complications of the disease,
aimed at ADULT positive or suspected Coronavirus (SARS-COV-2) patients
asymptomatic or with few symptoms, who are currently in quarantine at home hoping to improve and who receive support only from their doctor.
This method is NOT BASED ON SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE for COVID19 patients but only on a REASONABLE THEORY built on the respiratory characteristics of hospitalized patients described by doctors.
IT DOES NOT PREVENT CONTACT but should help slow the progression of the disease and possibly stop it (so-called secondary prevention), still producing positive effects on the thoracic and lung excursion.
IT DOES NOT REPLACE THE THERAPIES prescribed by the general practitioner but supports them.
The method we propose generates negative and positive pressures in the respiratory system that allow to keep the alveoli and the smaller airways open, "recruiting" any areas of the lung that receive little air.
It also allows you to keep your respiratory muscles "trained", which is certainly useful in the event of a worsening of the clinical picture. In a nutshell, the ultimate goal is to increase reserve and respiratory resistance.
Therapy does not foresee risks for those who perform it .... [continue] [ Ссылка ]
