How do you know the right pressure without scarring the skin?
The right pressure&depth are very difficult to explain other than visual as every person has a lighter or heavier touch.
👉🏻Work with less pressure, it's always easier to do than undo.
👉🏻Some skin types do not bleed instantly when doing first pass. It doesn't necessarily mean you have to work deeper! Gently squeeze the channels to see if there is any PIN POINT bleeding.
👉🏻When filling in with pigment, pressure is not required or very limited. The strokes will become deeper and wider from subsequent passes anyway.
👉🏻If you work deep there are limited solutions, except for not going over those strokes again and hope for damage control.
