Details of how you will support your studies in Australia:
You can demonstrate financial capacity in one of two ways:
*1. By showing your parents or partner earn a certain amount.*
For ongoing income, it can only be from the applicant's parents or spouse - if they are not coming to Australia. The income must be at least AUD 63,000 per year and can be evidenced by a tax return. It cannot be anyone else.
*2. Cash at bank - bank balance by bank / loan statement etc.*
This can be anyone, obviously the closer the relationship ex, family - the better. This amount as calculated below can be shown from two or more different family members as long as it totals the amount required. No more than two is recommended if possible.
The amount of funds an applicant must demonstrate is worked out by adding:
*Living Costs - approx 30,000 + Travel Costs - 2,000 + Course Fees - 12 months pro rata - i.e. half of your total tuition if doing a two year course from your chosen education provider.*
