We finish up our camping on the Pentecost River and make our way to Emma Gorge and El Questro Station. We didn't book ahead and were lucky enough to get a beautiful camp under the trees which seemed a bit cooler from staying on the Pentecost.
This was a great base to check out some of the scenic locations and 4wd tracks on the station. We visited the most beautiful lookouts we've ever seen, they really were very special. The following days we started the day soaking at the thermal pools of Zebadee Springs and then got on the tracks to complete some epic gorges. Our favourite was the El Questro gorge, mainly for the scenery on the way in, it was stunning. We went all the way to the end of that gorge, took us quite a while but we enjoyed it thoroughly (4.5 hours return). Lots of climbing and rock hopping.
