Filmed in October 2020
In this video we meet with fellow YouTuber couple - Jack and Kristina from JK Overland for a day of green laning in the Peak District.
Jack and Kristina are well known for their overlanding videos in the UK and beyond. They spend a lot of time during the year travelling through Europe and documenting their journey along the way. They drive a very cool truck - a 1987 Mitsubishi Pajero - a very capable rig, which they restore, modify and make videos of as they go.
Peak District has become one of our favourite areas to go exploring in our Jeep in 2020. We always manage to find interesting green lanes with beautiful views - a perfect outdoor adventure combo for any Jeepers or off-road enthusiasts. This time we were also spoiled by beautiful weather on an early October’s day.
We met up with our friends near Sheffield for our first lane - Houndkirk lane. We have visited here back in June 2020 - check it out the link below:

Houndkirk lane is an easy going track with beautiful views for miles, suitable for most if not all 4x4 vehicles. After finishing this lane we made our way across the beautiful Peak District National Park towards Oldham. We had planned a nice loop of lanes that we had never visited before. All with the help of the Trailwise2 map by GLASS (Green lane association). Some of these tracks were more challenging than others, including tight and tippy sections as well as axle twisters. Our Jeep even lifted a wheel off the ground which doesn’t happen very often with the 2.5” lift and 37” tyres! The Pajero wasn’t far behind the JL, proving itself on the rocky lanes. It was nice to see the difference between the Mitsubishi with independent torsion bar front and a solid axle vehicle like our Jeep. Both super capable!
