Welcome to Anchorage, Alaska! This stop concluded our last Pacific Rim tour, and it was amazing to see this legendary city and scenery for myself!
The approach was spectacular - dare I say breathtaking! Somehow it culminated in being allowed a rarely bestowed visual approach (Typically the runways used are the parallel 33s I've been told.)
As usual, our captain kissed the pavement despite the fatigue following a 7h flight from Tokyo. What more can I say? It's the little things that make the big differences!
