Two police officers were this evening been killed and a civilians seriously wounded when they were ambushed by suspected bandits at Kapedo bridge. Rift valley regional coordinator George Natembeya confirmed that the chief inspector in charge of the rapid deployment unit in Kapedo, his driver a constable and a civilian were ambushed on the bridge by bandits while on their way to the camp.
This coming hours after the government sent its strongest signal yet that politicians would be held accountable for every word they utter.
Tiaty Member Of Parliament William Kamket spent the better part of today at Kileleshwa police station being questioned over what he may know about the rising insecurity in Kapedo and Tiaty in Baringo County. Kamket who was released on a free bond has however through his lawyers dismissed the reports saying that police questioned him over a murder case that occurred back in 2014.
