In The Week Before, there are a set of endings, with one being referred to as "The End" in black borders

In Return to the Pit, the ending with "The End" in black borders is one almost 1 to 1 to the story told in the Into the Pit novel.

Considering The Week Before is a confirmed canon or "in continuity" book, and shares a series with RTTP, it implies this ending is the in continuity version of the ITP story.

This adds incredible merit to Stitchline/Frightsgames/FrightsReboot.
