Supreme Court has issued notices to Netravali Sarpanch Rajani Gaonkar and Deputy Sarpanch Abhijit Desai in an SLP filed challenging the order of the High Court setting aside their disqualification.
SC in the notice sent to both has asked as to why should the SLP not be admitted and has directed both to file affidavits in 4 weeks. It may be noted that Shiv Sena Goa Vice President Rakhi Naik has filed the SLP before the Supreme Court
