Rhapsody is a Grey-Headed Flying-Fox who was on her dead mum on power lines for a few days before anyone noticed her.
She was rescued by the energy company with an insulated extendable pole.
Little Rhapsody didn't want to let go of her mum's nipple. Baby bats feel secure if they're holding on with their mouth/teeth, and in flight, they clamp onto mum's nipple with their sharp little backwards curving milk teeth (ouch, mum must have nipples of cast iron). They have extra barbs under their claws to assist them hanging onto mum.
Don't try this yourself - you will most likely electrocute yourself.
