What's your "They were bad, but they didn't deserve that" story? One of my roommates in college was an extremely entitled brat who flaunted her daddy's money and was so out of touch with reality that she genuinely laughed at me for not being able to eat out every meal. I remember telling her that not all of our parents are rich and her response was that mine shouldn't have been so lazy in life. Well, during Christmas break, she attended an event her father hosted and was caught sleeping with her dad's brother-in-law. In the immediate aftermath, she was removed from her father's will and had her allowance cut off. So she actually had to start studying and get a job. And all of this hit her hard. She hated her job, and as time went on, she spiraled out of control. Though things got much worse because she couldn't afford her lavish lifestyle of eating out and Adderall, she quit her retail job to become a dancer at a nearby club. There she met a wealthy regular who loved her and paid her extremely well, and they developed somewhat of a relationship. One fateful evening, he promised her $3K for a night alone at his place, and nobody knows exactly what happened. But after that night, she was paralyzed from the waist down.
