This vaccine is scheduled for children 12-15 months of age and then again at 4-6 years of age.
But, because children aren't being vaccinated as they should, we've seen a rise in these diseases. In fact, I had my first case of mumps, the other day; we're actually have a slight epidemic in our area right now which is why I wanted to review this.
Also, just because you've recieved the vaccine, it doesn't exclude you from ever getting measles, mumps, or rubella later in life. Instead, you have a significantly decreased risk of developing this.
Lastly, I do want to add that the MMR vaccine has not been shown to have any correlation or causation with autism or any other diseases.
