EP80: Lake Skadar & Fortress Besac // Discovering the Wild Beauty of Montenegro

We took off on a road trip to visit the largest lake in all the Balkans. Lake Skadar is known for its wildlife, beauty and its size. Home to many species of birds, including the last few pelicans of the area. From above this lake also looks like a dolphin - half in Albania and its tail in Montenegro. We tour this lake by boat from the small town of Virpazar; which is also home to Fortress Besac. The more we explore this beautiful country we are overcome with the dramatic landscapes and beauty. This was one of the most serene places we've ever been to in our time in Montenegro.
