Goa gets its first Vande Bharat Express and Maharashtra its fifth on Tuesday. The Vande Bharat Express will run between Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Goa's Madgaon station and help in boosting tourism in the two states, according to Indian Railways.
“At present, the journey from Madgaon station in Goa to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai, covering a distance of about 586 km, takes about 11-12 hours. This distance can be covered by Vande Bharat train in just 8 hours, due to which the passengers will save about 3-4 hours of time," according to a statement by the Indian Railways.
Stoppages of Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express:-
Train No-22229 will start its journey from CSMT in Mumbai at 05.25 and will reach Dadar at 05.32 and depart at 05.34, it will reach Thane at 05.52 and depart at 05.54, reach Panvel at 06.30 and depart at 06.32, reach Khed at 08.48 and depart at 08.50, reach Ratnagiri at 10.40 and depart at 10.45, reach Kankavali at 12.45 and depart at 12.47, reach Thivim at 14.24 and depart at 14.26 and finally reaching at Madgaon at 15.30.
Stoppages of Madgaon-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express:-
Train No-22230 will start its journey from Madgaon at 12.20 and will reach Thivim at 13.06 and depart at 13.08, reach Kankavali at 14.18, and depart at 14.20, reach Ratnagiri at 16.55 and depart at 17.00, reach Khed at 18.40 and depart at 18.42, reach Panvel at 21.00 and depart at 21.02, reach Thane at 21.35 and depart at 21.37, reach Dadar at 22.05 and depart at 22.07 and finally reaching CSMT Mumbai at 22.25.

Non Monsoon Timings:
22229/22230 Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express (6 days a week) except Friday.
22229 will leave CSMT Mumbai at 05.25 hrs on and will reach Madgaon at 13.10 hrs.
22230 will leave Madgaon at 14.40 hrs and will reach CSMT Mumbai at 22.25 hrs.
Monsoon Timings:
22229/22230 Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express (Tri-weekly)
22229 will leave CSMT Mumbai at 05.25 hrs on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will reach Madgaon at 15.30 hrs.
22230 will leave Madgaon at 12.20 hrs on every Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday and will reach CSMT Mumbai at 22.25 hrs.
The Mumbai-Madgaon Vande Bharat Express will stop at Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Khed, Ratnagiri, Kankavali and Thivim.

The fare in a AC Chair Car in Vande Bharat Express will be ₹1970 from Madgaon to CSMT Mumbai which will include ₹530 for catering charges. The fare in the Exec.Chair Car will be ₹3535 from Madgaon to CSMT which will include ₹613 as catering charges.
