To mark the opening of "Silver Linings: Celebrating the Spelman Art Collection" the Loeb hosted a panel discussion on Friday, September 29th.
Through the work of nearly forty artists, "Silver Linings" uplifts the legacy of artists of African descent spanning the 20th century through the present-day. The panel conversation featured Liz Andrews, Ph.D., Executive Director, Spelman College Museum of Fine Art, Karen Comer Lowe, Curator-in-Residence at the Spelman College Museum of Fine Art, and Cheryl Finley, Ph.D., Inaugural Director of the Atlanta University Center Collective for the Study of Art History and Curatorial Studies.
