The fifties, pearls were relied to complete an outfit for business or cocktail party and dress up on anything else and made 'iconic people' some of the actress, royalty and world famous people of the era
This outstanding triple strand Pearl necklace is 1950 ca.
Comprising into three rows of fifty-one, fifty-four and fifty-nine cultured Pearls of 7.0 – 7.5, good roundness, white creamy colour, nice skin and lustre, with shortest row 42.0 cm.
Completed with a rich and imposing cushion shaped clasp, hand crafted of 18 Kt gold tested
Set with a large Emerald complemented by Diamonds, expressing in full the chic statement jewellery of the era in a classy vision to last for ever
Emerald is a sizable 3.80 Ct (11 x 9.2 mm.) rich grassy Green colour, Colombian origin standing on the type of inclusions, beautiful presence with so called emerald garden 'jardin' for natural internal inclusions, a few reaching the surface as typical of some Colombian Emeralds
Further embellished by 2.50 Ct of G/H VVS/VS between old round Swiss cut and Baguette cut Diamonds for much of a stir, clasp is 21 x 21 mm by side, weighs 107.0 grams – excellent condition
