On the night between Dec 2 and Dec 3, 2021, comet C/2021 A1 Leonard was visually pleasing as it approached globular cluster M3.
Technical details:
This is an hour time lapse - each frame represents 30 seconds of exposure (@ ISO1600), with about 10 seconds between each frames. It was shot on Canon T7i connected in prime focus to a 6" newtonian reflector with focal length of 750mm (f/5) with equatorial tracking mount and guided tracking. Nevertheless, guiding wasn't perfect.
