This short film shows the best photos of the year from caving expeditions with the Frankfurt chapter of the Deutscher Alpenverein (german alpine club, DAV). It begins with small caves in the Loferer Steinberge (Austria), where the chapter does the bulk of its exploration (prominently the Loferer Schacht and the Kreuzhöhle), then shows a cave in the Schwäbische Alb (Germany) and finally five beautiful caverns in the French Jura.

Thanks go to my cave photography inspiration: Sirio Sechi, Peter Gedei, Robbie Shone and Dinko Stopić, and to the astronauts of NASA, ESA and Roscosmos, who train hard (among many places, in caves) to reach for their dreams in space, just as I am reaching for this dream.
