The Peterborough Collection is a series that shows the changing face of the city through a montage of photographs from throughout the decades. This week's focus is Cumbergate, which used to be an 'L' shaped road from the back of the Primark entrance of Queensgate to the Boots entrance of the shopping centre on Long Causeway. When Queensgate was built in 1982, Cumbergate was shortened to how it is today. We begin the look back through time in the late 1890s.
