Hospitals could take months to clear their backlog of patients as Singapore grapples with a surge in COVID-19 cases. The Health Ministry's Director of Medical Services Kenneth Mak said hospitals are already doing their best, by prioritising cancer patients. Furthermore, the use of technology in healthcare will give patients another option to monitor their health. He made these remarks at the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress on Oct 7.
