➡️Outside, a massive rectangular pond, or hauz, functions as the centrepiece of the courtyard one finds drinking water stations, stone benches and verdant trees all around.
➡️Next to the masjid, lies the only surviving Irani Hamam (Turkish bath) in India.
➡️Apparently it was built around the same time as the Moghul Masjid and was once quite a popular spot among the Iranians living here.
➡️This is the only surving "hammam" i.e Turkish Bath in the city, may be in india too.
➡️A Turkish bath (also called a hammam) is a community bath house associated with the culture of the Ottoman Empire and more widely the Islamic world, where the visitors can expect an organ-rearranging massage followed by a soothing, hot water bath.
