This is part 2 of a magical fly fishing day I had this fall dry fly fishing. In the first part I caught my biggest browntrout of the whole year on the dry fly! I also managed to get a second native browntrout also on a dry fly. And I discovered there were more fish rising!
That's when this video begins. I continued fly fishing at the spot I caught the second browntrout at. The fish were not rising very frequently and also stopped rising completely in between. The fly fishing really wasn't easy due to crystal clear, low and slow flowing water. Still I managed to get a few strikes on the dry fly and got every hookset! In the end I caught plenty of native browntrout, all on small caddis dry flies. None of them were as big as the one in part 1 but I enjoy every fish I catch! And I mean the big browntrout in part 1 really was an exceptional fish!
In the end part 2 really was a magical evening with great fly fishing! Fall is and will probably always be my favourite season for fly fishing!
