For the first time European Union Prize for Literature has been won by a Ukrainian author.
Lviv writer Halyna Shayan was named one of the 14 laureates of the prestigious literary award. The novel "Behind the Back" is set in contemporary Ukraine and tells the story of a successful young woman, whose boyfriend is sent to fight in Russia's war in Donbas.
Our journalists had a chance to talk with the prize-winning writer at the Book Arsenal fair in Kyiv.
