Cary Sheet:
The Sheet that I showed while talking about the Star card is known as the Cary Sheet. It is located at the Yale University Library. The information I provided about it being from Milan and the date possibly as being as early as 1500, was taken directly from the Yale Library Website. However, I have since been informed that there is evidence that it is not from Milan and the date is relatively unknown because it was never officially analyzed and dated. The information on the website that I used comes from Michael Dummett. In the years since his passing much has been discovered that wasn’t known previously. As always there are a lot of unknowns with Tarot and playing card history.
