Union Budget 2023: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman should review the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to see if there is scope to expand it to other sectors, says Mohammad Athar (Saif), Partner and Leader Industrial Development, PwC India. According to him the signals from the Finance Ministry have been positive in terms of enabling growth of manufacturing. FM Nirmala Sitharaman will present the last full budget of the second Narendra Modi government on February 1, 2023. All eyes are on Union Budget 2023 to aid growth while maintaining the fiscal deficit target.
