This Symposium is repositioning in the context of Africa’s strategic context and UAL’s social purpose agenda, and the renewed Regional International Strategy for Africa. The Symposium is a ‘space’ for listening, rethinking, learning and taking action to effect significant culture change in research and knowledge exchange practices in a Pan-African diaspora context while seeking to establish transnational and interdisciplinary collaborations for critical enquiry and the co-production of knowledge exchange. The Symposium explored how to develop ethical equitable mutually beneficial partnerships with African scholars and universities.
