Ingredients
Chopped onion -4 nos
Maida flour – 1 ½ cup
Ginger 1 medium
Green chilli – 2 nos
Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
Baking soda – 1 tsp
Curd – 1 cup
Salt – 1 or 2 tsp
Oil – 1 ltr
Method
Firstly we have to take a bowl add chopped onion ,maida flour,chopped ginger ,green chilli and curry
leaves .
Then add baking soda ,salt and curd mix them well.
Add water little by little and mix well until we get a very thick batter. Set aside for 2 hours.
Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan ,take some batter ,make a hole in the middle .
Drop gently into the oil and stir occasionally .
Fry over medium heat on both sides, till they become crispy and golden light brown .
Serve and enjoy the tasty onion vada with coffee or tea.'
