Here is a step-by-step process on how to do this:
• Start by finding and pressing the leftmost First button.
• Once done, rotate the Program Selector Knob two clicks clockwise from the off position.
• Then, let go of the first button after three seconds, but before five seconds have passed.
• If you have done all these steps correctly, the LED lights on the control panel should switch on simultaneously.
• Proceed to hit the Start/Pause button to initiate the self-test mode. After that, your Hoover washing machine should reset.
• Alternatively, you can switch off your washing machine and unplug it from the power outlet.
• After about one to two minutes, connect the machine back to the power outlet and switch it on.
