Did Russia for the first time in history – use an intercontinental ballistic missile to attack on Ukraine? Kyiv says it certainly appears that way, U.S. officials say that may not exactly be the case and Vladimir Putin claims it is a new type of Russian Hypersonic missile. Allied generals and Poland's Defense Minister discussed the escalation in Ukraine and its influence on NATO's security while in the city of Szczecin, in northwestern Poland. There, the command of NATO's Multinational Corps Northeast was transferred to General Dariusz Parylak.
Washington has announced a new military aid package to Ukraine worth 275 million dollars, meant to supply Kyiv with as much equipment as possible before President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January of next year. This announcement comes alongside news of the Biden administration seeking to cancel over 4 and a half billion dollars’ worth of debt - in loans given to Ukraine.
