The all-new 2015 Ford Mondeo is the fourth generation of this iconic nameplate. Ford has included many new technological features in this model. One such feature is the rear mounted seatbelt airbag. In a crash the airbag deploys from within the seatbelt spreading the impact and reducing rib injury. This slow motion video is still not quick enough to capture how fast it activates. The seatbelt airbag is a £175 optional extra.
