Heads of anti-corruption agencies from around Africa started meeting in Kigali on Wednesday, to discuss strategies on how to overcome challenges that countries have experienced as they try to recover stolen assets. The meeting is seeking ways the continent can work as one to repatriate billions of dollars stashed in accounts abroad. Global anti-corruption body Transparency International ranks African countries as some of the most corrupt in the world.
