• १ कप तांदळाचं पीठ

With Diwali nearing, you must be looking for different Diwali recipes. Chakali is one of the most favourite Diwali recipes. We already have seen 2-3 chalaki recipes. Here is another easy and tasty cersion of chakali, rice chakali. It tastes just awesome and is a really quick recipe. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Ingredients:
• 1 cup Rice flour
• 1/4 cup Besan
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• Coriander powder
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Ajwain / Carom seeds
• 1 tbsp White sesame seeds
• 1 cup Water
• 1 tsp Oil
• Oil for frying.
Method:
• Take rice flour into a bowl.
• Add besan, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, turmeric
powder, ajwain, white sesame seeds and mix everything well
together.
• Heat up water in a pan.
• Add oil and bring it to boil.
• When the water begins to boil, lower down the heat to low. Add
rice flour and mix it quickly.
• Turn off the gas.
• Cover and rest the flour for about 10 minutes.
• Remove the lid and knead the dough really good. No need to add
extra water.
• Take a small portion of dough and make it smooth and even.
• Transfer the dough into chakali mould and roll out chakalis form
it.
• Roll chakalis on wax paper or plastic sheet or plain white paper.
• Seal both ends of chakali well so that they won’t open up while
frying.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Drop chakali into oil and fry it well on medium heat.
• After frying for about 3-4 minutes from one side, flip the chakali
over and fry well from other side too.
• When chakali is fried well from both sides take it oiut of oil, drain
excess oil and transfer it into a dish.
• Rice flour chakali is all ready.
