📌the north of Tehran . Derkeh is located near Evin and Valenjak neighborhoods and in the west of Shemiran . Due to its location on the slopes of the northern mountains of Tehran, this neighborhood is considered one of the best places for hiking in Tehran. And it is considered one of the northernmost neighborhoods of Tehran.

Plangchal shelter is located in Derkeh mountains and on the way up to Tochal peak.


The name of Derkeh comes from (Dar-e) which stands for Valley and (keh) is a small sign meaning small valley.
