A man who attempted to rob a Post Office got more than he bargained for when he was chased from the store from a worker wielding a bat. Wearing a devil mask and armed with a kitchen knife, the man tried to rob the store in Ely, Cardiff, yesterday morning. But he was unprepared for staff member and mother-of-two Paula Hooper, 52, who grabbed a wooden bat and lunged at her assailant before chasing him away.
