Inspired by questions about the Mi'kmaq Creation Story during language classes; With permission, we present a version told by the current Poet Laureate of PEI, Julie Pellissier-Lush. The Illustrations are by Laurie Martin, and taken from a book they collaborated on called "Mi'kmaq Campfire Stories of Prince Edward Island", published in 2020 by The Acorn Press.
