Gujarati Traditional Suvari
Ingredients:
Maida: 2 cups (250 gm)
Sugar: 90 gm
Sesame: 2 tsp
Cardamom Powder: 1/4 tsp
Ghee: 3 tbsp
Method:
1. In a pan add sugar and water. Prepare sugar syrup.
2. In a bowl add maida, sesame, cardamom and ghee. Mix it well. Now add sugar water add prepare it soft dough. Then knead it for 2-3 minutes. Now keep it aside for 10 minutes.
3. Now again knead the dough for 2-3 minutes. Then make small balls from it. Roll it like thin small puri. Now it aside the puri for 5-6 minutes then fry.
4. In a medium hot oil fry the suvari on low to medium flame until becomes light golden. Here your traditinal suvari is ready.
