For centuries, men and women have found solace, strength, and comfort from the Psalms. The Psalm Project is my “life project,” an attempt to set the Psalms (as many as possible during my remaining years) using contemporary melodies and harmonies. Some are in English and others in Hebrew, while many use a combination of both languages. You may use these settings in many ways-as choral presentations in concert or as part of a religious service, as sermon anthems, or simply as songs (sung by one or more vocalists) accompanied by guitar or piano. Most of the pieces may be performed either a cappella or with keyboard accompaniment.
