From early reports of this show, James Kalm was anxious to pay it a visit and check it out for himself. So impressed was he, that while leading a Williamsburg/Bushwick/Ridgewood gallery tour, he decided to make a quick walkthrough video of the show. All the paintings are large, figuratively based, and most employ oil paint. As a comparison to the recent series of abstract painting shows covered by your correspondent, and with the austere hanging; one painting per artist per wall, current figurative practices should be exposed.
