Tracy Gray discusses how real knowledge comes from experiences realized through the support of the community as opportunities present themselves. By traveling to Ghana with a mentor group, she learned about building real community and the very real success that comes with it.
Tracy L. Gray is a founder, innovator, educator and changemaker. She has devoted her career to bringing change to organizations and communities. In 2013, Ms. Gray launched the Sankofa Global Project with the mission to increase the number of women and people of color in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. The Sankofa Global Project has grown significantly since its inception. From the first West Oakland California Food, Fitness, and Tech Hack-A-Thon to the current GED+ Ed Tech Program, Tracy L. Gray brings communities together from California to New York, from Ghana to China, in a thriving global teaching and learning platform.
