Tourists to Beypore Beach in Kozhikode, Kerala, may now walk on waves. That's right. The state's tourist department constructed a floating bridge with the help of the District Tourists Promotion Council (DTPC) and the Ports Department.
The bridge is 100 meters long and 3 meters wide and is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) blocks. It can carry up to 500 people, but only 50 must wear life jackets. A 15-meter-wide platform extends out into the water at the bridge's end.
The timings to visit the bridge are 11 AM to 6 PM.
