I thought I’d go for your standard click-bait thumbnail for this one. The “THEY” is, of course, The Pretty Things, added at the last minute as the opener by powerful forces at Swan Song Records.
“THEY” were in L.A. to promote what was billed as their “Glam” effort. Accompanied by lots of buzzing, A Zeppelin might have been sighted backstage.
This, our debut at the Shrine, * ended up creating a bit of a kerfuffle. The reviews were Luke-warm and our management was upset about certain building policies; vowing never to return…and we never did.

These two performances are well worth a listen, especially the rare “Medley.” My original recording was really NOT a winner but hopefully technology has helped recover some lost bits.
