U.S. Rep. Don Manzullo joined a delegation of Taiwan officials in Rockford, IL to ink a deal with American farmers for Taiwan to purchase up to $5 billion worth of corn and soybeans grown in the United States. Manzullo, Chairman of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Asia & the Pacific, witnessed the signing of Letters of Intent for Taiwan to buy up to $3.39 billion worth of corn and corn by-products and up to $1.73 billion worth of soybeans over the next two years.
