The first group of Pilgrims arrived at the Uganda Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo after trekking 200km from Bushenyi to Wakiso District where the Uganda Martyrs were smoked to death because of their strong conviction to their Christian faith.
The group of strong believers from Bushenyi District was led by an 89 year elderly Bernado Tibyangye, it arrived at the Martyrs shrine at 11:00am.
