This video was only mildly chaotic. It features the Lotte World Indoor Amusement Park (largest indoor amusement park in the world) and the full length Lotte Tower fireworks display for the New Year's Countdown.
After realizing we wouldn't be in Taipei for the yearly countdown to watch the fireworks off the Taipei 101 - we thought the Lotte world tower would have an equal display. We were wrong, but that's ok! It was COMPLETELY an expectations thing and recommendations from everyone on how spectacular the fireworks were going to be. We revolved our day around it: getting tickets to the amusement park right next to it (though that was mostly because it was a warm place to walk around), spending an hour looking for a good spot to watch it from away from the crowds, sitting in the metro until it got closer to 11, sitting in the cold for an hour and fighting off cars that were trying to back into us with the spot we found. After the fireworks ended, there were a lot of people around us looking at each other in confusion and laughing. One guy who offered to let us sit in his warm car with him seemed even more disappointed then us.
But at the end of the day, they put on a better display then we ever in our life (minus that one time a rocket (Curt's birthday present from Brianna) went side ways and blew up across her parent's lawn) and we are grateful we got to spend a holiday season in THE Seoul, South Korea.

About Us
We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save money to travel. After getting married we bought a one way ticket to Greece in July of 2021 and have been traveling around the Globe since. Living abroad definitely brings some unique experiences.
These laidback Youtube videos will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends as we explore different countries, try new and strange foods (and of course pizza), and see how many times we can avoid airplane fares. These homevideos will be the only souvenir we end up with at the end (only because nothing else will fit in our bags).
