The vehicle's electrical system of the TGL and TGM series is designed as an integrated control unit structure. The vehicle's electronic intelligence is called MAN Tronic. All control units are interconnected by means of CAN bus lines. The MAN Tronic reduces the wire lengths and the number of cable connections. An integrated electrical system also enhances vehicle functionality. This, for instance, makes the implementation of the BrakeMatic sustained action brake management as well as the use of the automatic TipMatic shift system possible.
