Resplendent in their new GBRf livery, class 50 nos 50049 'Defiance' & 50007 'Hercules' speed through Norton Fitzwarren with 1Z50 , the outward Pathfinder Tours' 'The 50 Terminator - Phoenixed!' railtour from London Paddington to Penzance. The return would be to London Waterloo.

This railtour was run to mark 25 years since the class's final BR journey back in 1994, which ran to the identical
itinerary, only in reverse, starting from Waterloo and returning to Paddington.

50049 was carrying 2 headboards, 1 for the current tour & the other from from the original trip 25 years ago.
