Earthquake of magnitude 5.3 strikes Telangana, tremors felt in Hyderabad. The earthquake struck hit Telangana's Mulugu at 7:27am, causing panic among locals. According to the NCS, the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 40 kilometers. So far, no significant damage has been reported, and authorities are still assessing the situation. Notably, Telangana rarely experiences seismic activity, making the quake a rare event in the region. Recently, earthquake of magnitude 2.9 jolted Assam's Karbi Anglong on the intervening night of November 30.
