Kiambu County Government has been prohibited from implementing the 16.5 billion shillings supplementary budget passed by the county assembly in March this year. Justice James Makau issued the restraining orders after Kiambu County Government admitted failing to follow proper procedure in making the supplementary budget. The budget estimates were challenged by a section of county assembly members.
